Ok this is just sad. Yeah you want people to know the justice system works, but it sounds like the punishment to began with was pretty harsh, and the ultimate goal of correctional facilities is to encourage people to be producitve members of society (prison being a detterent for misbehavior). This lady made a stupid mistake as a kid, and since escaping prison has gone on to live a productive life as a member of society. Why waste time and money on prosecuting stuff like this?
