Habitats are shrinking. Before long we will see alot of animals that we normally shouldnt.

Harriet Michaels: Do you actually like haggis?
Charlie Mackenzie: No, I think it's repellent in every way. In fact, I think most Scottish cuisine is based on a dare.

Re: A friend's hunting trip to Utah, and what he saw....

One of my dad's friends has a motion sensing camera that he sets out in the woods over night. Anyway, one of the pictures he got was of a cougar chasing a deer about 10-15 feet away from the camera. I don't remember exactly where he said the camera was set up, but it was somewhere in the southwestern part of Iowa. You always hear stories of cougars sightings in the state, and this pretty much confirmed it.

According to my friend, there were two of them, both adolescent males.

There is a serious problem with semi-domesticated "wild" animals. While they seem "cute", it is only a matter of time before the "random event generator" that is a wild animal leads to an "attack", due to proximity.

Heck, even my housecat has gone "postal" on me, and that was mainly just bad luck. Imagine a fully grown cougar and a person in a "misunderstanding".
