Sports Bar with MLB Package?
Does anybody know a sports bar in the DSM area that has the MBL TV Package? Jeff Clement just got called up for the Mariners and I wouldn't mind seeing the game tonight. Actually, if there's a good sports bar around with the MLB package I'd probably catch a Mariners game weekly.
Failing that, are there any websites that offer free streaming of MLB games?
Thanks in advance.

mlb.com I think has streaming of all games for a small fee

If you were going to watch a weekly game at a bar, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy your own beer, and get the MLB package at home?

Thanks in advance. Good luck trying to find one. None of the major sports bars in Ankeny offer it. You might try Buffalo Wild Wings out at Jordan Creek or maybe Hooters.

Yeah, I'm thinking it will be tough to find a place that would carry all games, but I just thought I'd ask. With NFL, there are usually just 5 or 6 games on at any given time, but MLB will have a lot more going. I don't want to get the MLB package because I don't want to spend all my summer nights inside watching baseball, I just want to be able to catch an occaisional game.

Yes, Cubs, White Sox, Cardinals, Twins, Brewers and Royals would be blocked out in Des Moines. Originally Posted by thunderdave I think you still have to deal with blackout issues with this package. -

Speaking of Clement being called up to the Majors, Keeler did a write-up about him in today's rag. The story is ok, IMO it could have been A LOT better. Keeler: Iowan hits the big leagues | DesMoinesRegister.com | The Des Moines Register -
Re: Sports Bar with MLB Package?
Legends does not last I heard... Chicken Coop has it but if there is a cubs game on they get first priority, even if you bring in 40 people to watch another game... We had the best luck with 'The Game' on 86th. They would put the game on the main screens and give us sound...
