Anyone here a subscriber? I just got a killer deal from Slickdeals (Stratus 4 shipped+2 months service and activation for $.01 shipped).
What're the good channels? Any other advice?

my top 10 channels in no particular order are
20-octane-popular "hard rock"-foo fighters/evans blue/etc.
21-alt nation-kind of like college radio but better.
24-90's alternative-self explanatory.
28-faction-punk/rock/rap combo.
29-punk-self explanatory,
34-boombox-techno/mashups
40-hot jams-pop rap
45-shade 45-eminems channel
50-hip hop nation
and last is channel 123-some sports channel that has rivals radio with bill king every morning

I've had both SIRIUS (now) and XM. I love SIRIUS WAY more than XM.
Living outside of Iowa it's awesome because they cover the Big 12. That I just like the different music stations more.
But since they are merging, it really doesn't matter

Sirius is just like Tivo. You really don't know what your missing until you have it then you would never give it up.
For us older guys I like channel 15 which is Classic Rewind and 19 Buzzsaw all classic metal. Then there's 23 Hair Nation all 80s hair bands. Then there's channel 10 E Street Nation which is all Springsteen but I think that's ending at the end of May. Not to mention all Cyclone football and basketball games so if you happen to be on the road you won't miss a play due to static or no signal.
