Man caves and women caves

Does anybody have examples of man caves or women caves that they would like to share (places or activities that are off-limits to the spouse)?

The linked article claims that retreating to the cave will only get you so far.

I don't really need a cave......when I start doing something that bores the crap out of my wife, she just leaves the room.

I have a good sized workshop area in my garage which happens to be heated. My tools are stored in the workshop area. I consider it to be my man cave.

Heated 4 car garage with satelite tv, stereo, fridge, and back door for quick get away.
The garage and basement are mine and the main floor and upstairs is hers. Works pretty good.

The basement is all mine (4 level split) It's not huge but, a good sized area. I have fooseball, craps, poker, video games, HD flatscreen and this lovely baby I put in a couple of years ago.





The pictures are dark because the walls are real pine that were stained really dark by the original owner. I've thought about changing it, but, after adding a white floor, it gave it that homey/man cave feel. Plus, it is really nice paneling, so, it's tough to just toss it out. It helps soak up the smell when I break out the cigars also.

I have two, 2 1/2 car garages, a 16 x 20 foot heated workshop, (with a better furnace than the house) and a 12 foot by 14 foot room in the basement.

A man's gotta have his priorities, you know....

Our house in Germany is all hers, though....

I've put mine together in the basement of our house. The wife is even going to let me renovate it soon. Gotta make it bigger. I've got my LCD, video games, 1,200+ CDs, and just about everything I could need to keep me entertained.
