I'm thinking it's faked. He turns the lights off before he lights the "firework" but they are on after the explosion.

Agreed on the lights. It appears the lighting changes, at first I thought it might be the camera adjusting to the explosion but it never dims back down. Totally a fake.

Missed the shirt. Why would someone make something like this and not wear the same shirt or change the lighting, all while pointing out in the film they were turning the lights off. I wonder if these were done on purpose?
