Nine Inch Nails released a new album today via their website www.nin.com. Title "The Slip". Album is a free download.
Being the massive NIN fan that I am, good to see Reznor really cranking out the material. A new album just a month or so after the release of Ghosts. Definitely looking foward to the concert August 2nd in MN.

I went to a Gymnastics meet in 1999 and one of the ladies from ISU choose a Nine Inch Nails song for her floor routine. I want to say it was the cleaned up version of Closer.
It was both disturbing and arousing at the same time...

Yeah, this is not a Downward Spiral or The Fragile, but I am digging it none the less. Of course Reznor could probably release a rap/country album and I would listen to it, that is how much love NIN.
All that aside, I think it is a decent effort and adds to the NIN catalog. I have been listening to it all morning at work and probably will listen to it constantly for the next several days.

NIN's last few albums have taken some time for me to warm up to them.
So a less than stellar review now might not be the case a few weeks later.
"With Teeth" I warmed up to and really liked it.
"Year Zero" Not as much, but still ok

Yeah im listening to it now its good i enjoy anything from Trent love Ghosts
but the songs on slip could compare to Year Zero which is perfectly fine for me Im digging the internet release it just shows that Trent doesn't need a giant record label for him to get his music out and heard by millions
