Allegiant is available!

We got our Vegas tickets, so now it is safe to announce that tickets are available on Allegiant Air.

Do you have to book your room through them to get the cheap flights? It tells me it's going to be $314/ticket but then when I get through the rental car/other options it tells me about $1,300 for 2 airline tickets only.

We're having the same experience - apparently taxes jack the price way up??

Re: Allegiant is available!

Something's fishy on their site. The first search I did came up with $432/person staying at Excalibur. Did the same search and now it's $800 something? What is everyone else seeing?

Nothing fishy. It's economics. Demand increases price.

The weird thing is when I start the search it says the flight is $99 on Friday out and $99 on Monday back?

The $800 something is what I saw when I did a search.

Edit: I did a search from Rochester, MN to Vegas and it comes up at $403 for Excalibur, that is a huge difference between Des Moines.

The more hits it gets for a certain date the higher the prices go up. Since everyone is looking it will jump up today... Expedia does the same thing.

Sioux Falls Option

People in NW Iowa might want to check out Sioux Falls, SD. $99 flights each way.
