Anybody else think the new KCCI weather page designers based if off the UNO cards?
It was bugging me all day and it finally hit me what the forecast graphics reminded me of. UNO cards.

I was thinking about this too, actually.
Hate it. Any Computer people here that can crash websites? You'd be doing them a favor.

I hate it, I've been trying to use it all day and it just plainly sucks. For one, it's design is aweful and awkward to use, second it uses MS technology that isn't compatible with third-party browsers, and three it just doesn't work for a weather page.

That might be the worst-designed non-Myspace website I've ever seen. UNO is a good comparison - if the 60's had websites, they'd have looked like this.

This is a case of good intentions gone bad. Not only is the layout less than good, the implementation was rather silly. Quite a big change to roll out unannounced - especially on a site where people want to know exactly where the info is (same place every time) to get it quickly and move on.
Perhaps KCCI could use some change management...

I always try to give everything a couple chances to be alright but I cant stand it. I hope they go back to the old one. If it aint broken dont fix it.

I just checked it out to see what all the commotion was about and now i see what it was from. First of all, when did they change the weather page? and second it does look like UNO cards.

I hated it instantly when I tried to check the 5-day forecast this afternoon. ATTN: MrsWx4Cy! I hope you can have some input to get this fixed!!
