Whatever you do, don't get him a Ford Fiesta!!! You know what I'm talkin' about...

Everything works. Has a little rust but overall in very good condition. Good gas mileage. Would make a great first car. He is asking $2500. If interested let me know and I will get you his info.
Thanks Cyclone State,

I am going to be out of town this weekend, so I would need to look at it sometime next week.

Could you please PM me with contact information .

Thanks !

Re: Looking for good quality car from $1000-$2500 for Teenager

I agree with many on this post about older Ford Taurus models. Lat summer we sold our daughter's 93 for around $725. Bought it three years before for about $3500. There were some problems, some of which ended up being slight --like a $10 pipe replacement at Sinclair here in Ames when previous higher priced more complete pipe-joint replacements didn't solve the overheating problem. Still, the guy who bought our daughter's did so for his daughter, also a college student. Just be careful and take any potential buy to a mechanic you trust before buying. Reputable people won't mind.
