The only problems is that there has to be someone 21 at home to sign for the wine or they won't deliver and we are rarely home when UPS comes. We are debating joining at WineStyles in West Glen too.

The GF was a member of American Cellars Wine Club and was happy with it until the rules changed and UPS could not leave the delivery on the doorstep if you weren't there. That eventually put an end it as it was a big pain to run to the UPS warehouse every month to get your wine. Wine Club | Online Wine Store | Wine Gift Set, Basket, Glasses – Vinesse Clubs
I don't recall if she ever got a bottle she didn't like and was often pleasantly surprised. Occassionally she ordered more when she found one she particularly liked. I didn't help her drink much of it, so eventually she would get behind the curve and the wine stock would get fairly large.
You may also want to consider some assessories from Cork Pops, such as wine preserver. Cork Pops-Wine Accessories, Bottle Openers, Glassware, Wine Openers, Barware, Mojito and more. |

Most of them are smaller and don't sell their wines anywhere but at the winery and through internet/wine clubs. The wine clubs can be a good deal and they treat you like royalty if you ever visit the winery. These were my two favorites and we're trying to decide which club to join.
Solid Cabernet and good Reieslings at V. Sattui. If you like Port, they have a great 1999 vintage port. The Sattui Family Red is a great blended table wine that tastes much more expensive than it is. http://www.vsattui.com/
The wine castle is pretty cool, they have a great Chardonnay and Merlot. My wife particularly enjoyed their desert wines. Castello di Amorosa Winery - A Castle In Beautiful Napa Valley - Castle Wine Tour and Tastings of Cabernets, Red Wine and White Wine in Napa, CA
Then again, there's always Beringer White Zinfandel, 48 bucks a case. |

Credits: 108,308 | Re: Wine of the month club I don't use Silverlake Wine's club, but I regularly visit the store. I'm consistently surprised at the price/quality ratio of the recommended wines. I had never encountered so many AMAZING whites for less than $12 and reds for less than $25.
We used to use napa and sonoma wine clubs but found that for us the value and quality at Silverlake Wines was better. ::SILVERLAKE WINE:: |
