Need Landscaping referrals

I'm in Urbandale, so anywhere close is fine. I'm looking to put in a stone patio with a few other things. Any help is appreciated.

I call tell you who absolutely in no uncertain terms not to use...

Al Carey Landscaping - located in Waukee.

Worst experience with a subcontractor by far. Someone else in our same neighborhood had the same problems.

If you want to fight and fight and fight with someone to get your job done at all, get strung along, have mediocre work done, etc - go with Al Carey.

Along these same lines, does someone have a good recommendation for Sod Installation? My father wants to have his front and back yards torn out and re-sodded. What should that cost?

Also, he's lookin for a company that will maintain the landscape. Not the mowing as much as occaisional pruning, weeding, and clean up.

As for sod, timberpine can do that too if asked, but I have found that if you are willing to lay it yourself (its honestly not that hard) you can save half as much. But if you don't want to do it yourself, I have had good luck with Capital City Landscaping. If he doesn't want to mow much, I would hire out a kid down the street, they are 100% more affordable than a place like Perficut.

Stone and paver patios are a really easy and fun do it yourself... I have done a couple of them in the past and about to start another on my own house...
