Beer Tours, head north to New Belgium in Ft Collins. Golf, Fossil Trace, Arrowhead, or The Ridge are my favorites. Arrowhead is the most scenic.
Where are you staying? Fantastic suggestions, as well!! I always like a good shopping suggestion. I'll add to my lists!!
We're at the downtown Marriott - the whole downtown area is going to be overrun with orthodontists.

Downtown Marriott is two blocks off of the Mall. Lots of Restaurants up and down the mall. They passed an ordinance about pan handling on the Mall so it is much more tourist friendly.
If you want nice (somewhat pricey) around the corner from the Marriott is the Broker. The restaurant is a converted bank vault. Very classy and antique feeling.
I work downtown..if you want anymore suggestions, I would be happy to assist.

We're going to be making the walk from the Marriott to the Convention Center every day - do we pass the Mall on the way? Yes, please, any suggestions are more than welcome! Thanks so much!! | BUILD-A-BURGER CHAMP * 12/19/07!!

I'd suggest a French restaurant name Le Central. Every time we visit my brother-in-law it is a must stop.
Sushi Den is a good place as well.

Sushi Den is a good place as well. I'm loving these suggestions! You guys are great!! I have a list a mile long - it sounds from the other thread that ISUFan22 posted that Tokyo Joe's might be a good quick lunch spot, too?

When you step out of the Marriott, on California Street, you will you take a right and walk about four blocks to the Convention Center. You will know the Convention Center due to the large Blue Bear sculpture looking into the building. On the way there is a Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. that you will walk by on your right. The Marriott is exactly two blocks from the 16th Street Mall. You will walk across the mall on the way to the convention center. The mall is a pedestrian mall with regular shuttles up and down the mall.
the Denver Pavilions will be to the east of the Marriott, nice area and good restaurants.
If you plan on venturing out of downtown, I would echo the suggestions already posted on here. Museum, Red Rocks, etc.

Take in a Rockies game, sit in the OF and enjoy their own special Brews. It's a great place to watch a game.

Wynkoop and Breckenridge Breweries are all within blocks of Coors Field as well. Wynkoop has excellent food!

Vesta Dipping Grill is good.
You might also want to check out the 9th Door (next door to Vesta).
Personnally, I believe you need to go to the Cruise Room for a martini in the Oxford Hotel.
If you make the trip to Coors, you should definitely go check out Red Rocks Park in Morrison. It is only a few minutes from Golden.
For live music, check out the following venues. Fillmore, Ogden Theater, Bluebird Theater, and the Gothic Theater.
I'll give you bonus points if you make it to The Little Bear in Evergreen. The Nadas play there a couple times a year and they have some stolen Iowa State signs hanging in the tavern.

Is 9th Door a restaurant, bar, or both? I will definitely hit the Cruise Room - it sounds like all of those places are really close to our hotel, and we'll all have some time to kill at night!
Those are ALL great suggestions! I am going to have to try to hit the Ogden for sure. Maybe I should bring more ISU stuff for The Little Bear!

I don't know if they still do it, but they used to do a version of Old McDonald's Dysfunctional Farm that was hilarious.
