THE X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE
I can't help it. I miss this show and am ecstatic about the new movie. Will it compete with the other summer movies, no, but it should be fun. They have kept super quiet about all plot points and I think that adds to the excitement.

No. Standalone. I think they want to make a movie series from now on based on just freaky things.

I'm looking forward to it, too. I hadn't even heard about it until a few weeks ago. Will be interesting to see if anybody beyond X-Files fans still cares about it enough to see it. | |

They may have lost alot of general viewers with the alien conspiracy part of the show. I know alot of people who really enjoyed the non-alien episodes. Tose shows were freaky and really paved the way for alot of the scifi type shows we see now on primetime.

I am a bit surprised they decided to do another one, especially since it's been like, what, 10 years since the first? I used to watch X-Files avidly, so I am excited to see this one. Hope it turns out OK. | |

I never really watched X-Files until the past few seasons I got hooked on the Alien conspiracy story line.
