Are they going to hopefully clean up a big of the end of last season? IMO, you could really tell that the writer's strike effected the last few episodes.

Over/Under for Claire's screen time - 50% will be spent weeping.

What's the record for the fastest cancellation in TV history? My money would be on this show to beat it.
It all depends on whether it's well done or not. The success of LotR shows that there is a market for sword/scorcery, when written, acted and directed well.

That being said, I don't have much hope for any show that attempts to chronicle anyone's young adventures. It's most likely going to be drek.

I hope they add some stuff they intended to last season to it. Im sure there is at least an hour of recap =)

I have heard that the office spinoff might be 'The accountants' with Kevin, Oscar, and Angela...

I read about that, too. But I think she may be a villain. I think she's supposed to be the new "nemesis" for Hiro.

I also read that they'll be answering who shot Nathan Petrelli, but I haven't heard much more than that.

Kevin is an excellent character.
Like someone said earlier, Andy deserves his own show. He takes over when he's on right now.
Maybe its an inside look at the Schrute Beet farm.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

I hate spin offs. I really wish they weren't creating a spin off, it only hurts the original show and waters down the originality.

I was JUST having a discussion the other day about how there are hardly any good spin-offs. The only one I can think of that was really any good or successful was Frasier.

That's the only successful spin off I can think of to. Well I guess there is all those Law & Orders that can be considered successful too.

I forgot about those - and I guess the C.S.I. spin-offs do pretty well, too? Never seen any of them (although I do watch Law & Order: SVU when I see it on).

All in the Family (Archie Bunker) spin-off tree includes Maude, The Jeffersons, Gloria, 704 Hauser. Good Times was a sin off of Maude and Checking In was a spin off of The Jeffersons. A couple successful spin offs right there.

I used to love The Jeffersons.
