TV Upfronts Week: NBC
Well it's Upfront week where all the networks roll out their new fall schedules (it's called upfronts because they are trying to get money from the advertisers, up front) Up first, NBC.
NBC unveiled it's plans for a year long season a last month ago, but they didn't announce which shows would go where. Also the biggest news is that they announced Jimmy Fallon would take over Late Night when Conan O'Brien takes over the Tonight Show next year so here's the schedule
Fall Mon
7 PM- Chuck
8 PM- Heroes
9 PM- My Own Worst Enemy (Fall)/The Philanthropist (Mid-Season) Tues.
7 PM- Biggest Loser: Families (Fall)/Biggest Loser: Couples (Mid-Season)
8:30 PM- Kath & Kim
9 PM- Law & Order: SVU Weds.
7 PM- Knight Rider
8 PM- Deal Or No Deal
9 PM- Lipstick Jungle/Law & Order Thurs.
7 PM- My Name Is Earl
7:30 PM- 30 Rock
8 PM- The Office
8:30 PM- The Office/SNL Election Specials/The Office Spinoff (Mid-Season)
9 PM- ER (Final Season)/Celebrity Apprentice (Mid-Season) Fri.
7 PM- Crusoe/Deal Or No Deal
8 PM- Deal Or No Deal/Friday Night Lights
9 PM- Life Sat.
7 PM- Dateline
8 PM- Knight Rider Encores/Law & Order SVU Encores
9 PM- Law & Order SVU Encores/ Law & Order Encores Sun.

Has anybody heard rumors about what characters are being spun-off? It seems like they're getting ready to spin Jim and Pam to either New York or Philadelphia, but that's just a guess.

What's the record for the fastest cancellation in TV history? My money would be on this show to beat it.

I read a rumor that the writer/actor that plays cousin Mose is in charge but that doesn't really mean his character will be involved. A lot of people think it will be Andy which makes some sense as it seems like he could carry a show on his own and deserves a bigger role.
As far as the rest of the schedule goes it looks like they're really going for that next "Lost" or "Heroes" with all those serialized dramas.
