Yeah, I think it's cabin fever mixed with nesting, all rolled into one. I know that I personally know about six couples who are pregnant right now, and that just makes it worse.

Well I was born on Sept. 26th and my sister(4 years younger) Sept 25th. Using simple calculation, evidently my parents were in a festive mood.

I thought you meant a motherly instinct to tell men what to do. I was going to say yes.

Myself and my brothers were born in October and early November. When I asked Mom about us being born around the same time, she said "cold winters". I had to laugh.

I love the kids it was pregnancy that I really disliked...

Anyway, this makes it all worthwhile...

PS. we owe the 3rd one to Disney World. Flippin' Mickey Mouse and his hotel room showers.

I didn't get the information from the distant past...the complications I'm aware of are current. I've never stated the devices are all bad - they're just not the next best thing since sliced bread as some would like people to believe.

Re: Does spring time bring around the motherly instinct?

Seriously, I was designed, from birth, to be my wife's husband. I absolutely HATED the idea of my wife going through the discomfort and danger of pregnancy just to have babies.

But I have no will where she is concerned. What she wants, she gets. And she wanted two, so she got them. Then I got fixed, to avoid the temptation.

Plus, I like the idea of being on the same book as my wife. I find ways to get onto "her side".

Good luck. I hope you find a satisfactory way to resolve this.

Scar across the stomach? Don't fall for that. It's a tiny scar in the belly button and another tiny one that should never be visible in public.

My wife had 2 c-sections and honestly that scar is starting to become barely noticeable.

Any time my wife and I even think about kids the thought doesn't last too long. We just aren't ready to give up the freedom we have just yet...

I dont know how old you are, but dont wait too long. It gets more difficult as you get older. You never know what problems you may have. We had 2 miscarriages in the two years we wanted to start a family. Finally one took and we had two boys after that. But it shows that it can take time. Not to pressure you or anything, just an FYI. Plus nobody wants the old man dad

A friend of mine had twins when he was 47. He was also a stay at home dad.

I'm 29, shes 26. We like to travel, ALOT... Being the 'old man' dad doesn't bother me one bit, especially if my friends' kids are old enough to babysit at that point.
