You just brought up a topic that is a sore subject: 12 years of school lunches, and 26 years of military service, and it STILL ticks me off when servers slop my food together on the plate/tray.

If I wanted my vegetables mixed with my entree, I would've asked for it that way....

I'm sensing some latent issues....

Re: What was Pancheros thinking?

I lived in Ames for about 3 years before the new Pancheros arrived out by Best Buy. During that time I ate LOTS of Flying Burritos and thought they were great. Now I live in Cedar Falls and I get my enormous burritos from Pablos.

I really like Baja Fresh. Too bad there isn't one in Iowa.

I actually get the burrito bowl with just veggies - they pre-mix it. Delicious.

Out of this group (excluding Chipolte, since I've never been to one), I think Qdoba is the best quality/value. It seems you get more for your money.

Apparently this loser is going to be loving life, because I completely agree with the loser quoted in the ad. I might hit up Pancheros again now.

Chipolte is the best by far. The other two aren't even close

Chipolte is the best, another reason I cant wait for the one in Valley West to open for me to frequent. I was there yesterday eating Jimmy John's (right across the entrance from it) and it looks close to done and they have had the hiring station set up downstairs for a while.

By the way, is anyone else addicted to Jimmy John's? I can't seem to get enough of their sandwiches. I think I could eat a #8 every day of the year.

Jimmy Johns rules. I can't stay away.

Two years ago, I ate a Slim 1 and Slim 5 Monday - Friday all summer for lunch.

I love Jimmy Johns but cant ever get anyone from work to go. They all complain that JJ's sandwiches are nothing but lettuce...

Tell them to get the Gargantuan once, that should change their minds.

If they think it's too much lettuce, just order light lettuce or no lettuce. They do customize your sandwiches. I always order light lettuce w/ extra mayo. Yum!
