Chipotle is by far the best. Seems to have the freshest ingredients all the time.
I loved Jimmy Johns in college, but since have found a way to hate it. It's really not that great of a sandwich. A lot of bread, a lot of lettuce, not much flavor. If you have to settle for a chain sandwich, go with a Potbellys!

Maybe because I've never eaten Qdoba after a night at the bars... |

I think Qdoba seasons their meat better than Chipotle so I like Qdoba better. But I sure do like having a Corona with my burrito and I can't do that at Qdoba.

All I know is that the Qboda here in Davenport is horrible. Panchero's is the best option here. However, I ate at a Qboda in Rockaway, NJ last week - it was very good.

Totally agree with all the posters that loved the "old version" of Pancheros on Welsh (right where Mickey is).
Best post bar food, hands down - no contest.
Imagine if the Flying burrito and God had a child. It would be that original Pancheros.
I'm actually shedding a tear while typing this. RIP "good" Pancheros.

I've eaten Chipotle all over the map and it always has tasted the same. I don't see why Qdoba would taste different regionally, but in CO, it was good, good stuff.

I had the Qdoba in Clive once, it was bad and I haven't been back since. Panchero's is good, but it's not even close to Chipolte

On the mixing thing, I suppose it makes a difference if you have sour cream, guacamole or nothing. With nothing, I'm not sure it matters if your rice, beans and meat are mixed. With sour cream, I suppose it is better than biting into a bunch of sour cream (except that shouldn't happen if they build it right). But with guacamole, which is the way I like it, the flavor gets lost if it's mixed. I want to be able to taste it. If you want to blend, our business is at an end. | | |

After Steve Alford left EIU, the owner of Panchero's offered Rick Marjerus free tacos for life if he came to coach in IC. Guess that didn't work...
