I believe that a lot of people seriously believe that curbing CO2 emissions will help the environment. I believe that, in order to make it such a huge issue, there's money in it, and behind it. I'm not saying that those people are all the same people.

My stance is, and has always been, that if we are going to drop several trillion dollars on the environment, it could certainly be spend in ways that had real effect. When the very same scientists who are implying that global warming is man-made also say that we could completely stop the use of fossil fuels, and still not make a measureable difference, it really makes me pause and consider what we can do, and if all that money will improve anything.
