To those who have seen Iron Man

Is it kid safe for a seven year old boy?

Yes. Though there is one brief "scene of passion" in the beginning but, it doesn't show any skin, just a little primal aggression. Its very very brief and would probably slide by, replaced with all the imagery and action from the rest of the show.

Re: To those who have seen Iron Man

That depends on your stance on violence. There is some blood and you do see some death. Nothing too graphic, but you certainly get the idea that they are dead. (beginning of the movie is probably the worst for "real" violence.)

There is a little, tiny bit of nudity but it is fleeting.

So violence, blood, and nudity. Sounds perfect for a boy.

If you approved of Transformers for your boy, Ironman will be fine. It is along the same lines, maturity/violence/nudity wise.

Re: To those who have seen Iron Man

I took my 6 & 4 year olds (huge super hero fans) after screening it myself. Could have done without a few language issues (really pretty minor) and covered my 6 year old's face with popcorn bucket when the passion scene came up. Overall, they seemed to enjoy it without focusing on the negatives.

I agree. I took my 9 year old and it was fine in spite of the rolling in the sheets scene early in the movie.
