What they should have done is changed the band name and re-emerged if they were all new.

I saw Blind Melon open for the Rolling Stones in Jack Trice. They said that it was great to be in Des Moines.... the crowd did not like that. | |

how was the show? my friend saw them in omaha a month ago and said it was a great show, the new guy reminded him a lot of shannon, and that the new stuff was pretty good. I love blind melon, both the self-titled album and also soup. soup is a little darker, but very good listening.

it was an awesome show!!!! played a lot of songs from the self titled album, sprinkled in with a few new ones, and some off of soup...also played the cover of steppenwolfs "the pusher"!! and as far as sound, if u didnt know any better, u would have def. thought that was shannon on stage...travis warren did an amazing job!!! favorite part was when they played kind of an acoustic tribute, called it shannons song, and it was actually an acoustic version of change..incredibly sweet  | |
