Re: Tell us Your Favorite Song of the Decade

The 80s decade was a little hard for me to pick from. I look back at the songs and there were no classics for me like there were in the other decades.

I went to ISU in the early 80s and I thought it would be easier than that.

Anyone else feel like the 80s songs were a little lame overall?

Glad to see some Collective Soul love out there! Disciplined Breakdown is one of my favorite CD's.

Also pleased to see someone mention The Band. I discovered that group in my mid-20's. Life Is A Carnival, Twilight, and Don't Do It are a couple songs you might check out on iTunes.

No other song compares.

Little Boy: "What are you doing Gene Chizik?"
Gene Chizik: "Pwning noobs."

I wanted to put that song on my list when I first started making my list, but I figured no list would be legit without a Beatles tune on it, so it missed the cut.
