Wow, that is a lot. I routinley sold 500-700, but once I was old enough to drive mom made me do all of it myself....so I wasn't as motivated to sell more.

Yeah, I sold cookies even in high school.

What is your favorite cookie? I love the somoas... except, I think they changed the name to Carmel Delights for a few years, but might be back to somoas, not for sure. I like the ones with coconut.

Can you imagine the effort she must have used to sell all those. Then she has to sort through them and deliver them as well. WOW!

Just think of all the money she made for the company that made the cookies!!!!!

Because you know that the Girl Scouts actually get somewhere between Jack and Squat for their "cut" of the cookie profits....

While they're yummy and stuff, (Thin Mints and those Shortbread ones are pure, flippin' EVIL; I just cannot stop eating them when they're around....) I seem to recall some press the last few years about how Girl Scout cookies make a ton of money for everyone EXCEPT the actual Girl Scouts.

If I read the article correctly, she actulay sold them on a street corner. There was a troop here in Ames that sold them in Fareway.

So, she had an easier job that way...could've had some mugging issues though.
