Credits: 1,129,709 NFL: Cowboys | CNN.com now issuing tornado warning alerts Just noticed at the top of CNN.com, they're listing tornado warnings for a couple counties in Mississippi. Not a bad idea, IMO.

It's not as if CNN doesn't have their own weather department. And if anyone remembers Jacqui Jeras, well, she was on WHO something like 10 years ago. Plus she's a JLMC grad from Iowa State. Instant credibility IMO.

Unless a tornado or severe winds/hail are actually ravaging the immediate Metroplex, they run crawls and then use commerical time to give updates on the situation.
