I don't really see it as a political issue. It's just about someone being a pompous jerk to people he sees as inferior. Kind of like Berman's flip out someone else mentioned.

I don't care how bad a day I am having...I wouldn't be like that, unless of course I had a HUGE ego.

Or if you had just been stabbed with a trident.

Funny how this thread brings up an anti Fox News ad.

I like the O'Reilly Factor, but I agree he comes off as being a ****.

I wondered how long it would take someone to drop the liberal media line.

I've got a crisp one dollar bill that says if (insert liberal talking head here) is on that video rather than O'Reilly, you, hort4cy and those saying this is 'nothing' and 'overblown' would be talking about how it's evidence of some grand evil (insert favorite liberal lable here) plan by democrats and/or would find it hilarious.

I think the only thing funnier that O'Reilly's video was Colbert's 'early years video' last night.

Agreed. Keith Olbermann (I know how much conservatives love him ) showed the O'Reilly video on his show the other night, and then followed it up by saying there's probably a video somewhere out there of Olbermann doing the same thing--albeit probably from his time working for Fox.

The point: It's just funny, like the Chris Berman one. I like Chris Berman, but I'd still post that video on here too if it hadn't already been done.

You act like I'm a hardcore conservative or a Bill O'Reilly apologist. If that's your assumption, you're wrong on both counts.

And if Keith Olbermann did something like that (and I'm sure he has, as well as a ton of on air personalities), I don't think it would be shown all over the place. Maybe someplace like Colbert where the intent is to be funny, but on the Today show? Really? I doubt it.

And even if it was shown all over the place with the same amount of frequency, I would still indeed say that it is not a big deal. Why is it?

And how are you going to be making your payment? I'm a nice guy, so I won't charge interest.

I agree with this post 100%. It is funny. It is perfect to share on message boards or be on satirical shows like Colbert. I don't think it has any place on shows that are supposed to be news.

The Today Show piece was meant to be humorous as well, and the more serious part was about an anchor who dropped the F-bomb on air when she thought they had cut away. The rest was pretty lighthearted, including the O'Reilly part.

If that's the case, then I'll stand corrected. I can count on one hand how many times I've watched it, and I don't remember the last time I did. I thought it was supposed to be a news show.

During the first 10 minutes or during serious breaking news, the Today Show is a serious news show. The next 3 hours and 50 minutes is debatable.

But then you could say that about most any morning news show. Or for that matter, a lot of cable news shows (including, I would argue, O'Reilly).
