I had something very exciting that I was hoping for come through for me today. The day before the Indy 500 there is always a big parade downtown. This parade contains countless celebrities and also all 33 drivers riding in convertibles. They estimate 250,000 spectators along the parade route although I have no idea if that is accurate. Anyway, I usually go to the parade and shoot from behind the barricades but this year they have added me to their staff and I will be an official photographer for the 500 Festival so I should really have no excuses for not getting exceptional photos. Then the next day I will attend my 45th consecutive 500.
