Credits: 238,258 | Derell Arthur-grades It looks like there is pretty good evidence that Arthur had grades changed in high school inappropiately. It's amazing how this stuff comes after he is done @ KU. He should have not been eligible to play @ KU. |

I don't think KU had anything to do with it.

However, it is disappointing that something like this comes out after he declares and has no affect on his college play time while kids like Lucca get screwed over for doing nothing wrong. The NCAA needs role model athletes and, in my opinion, Lucca is much more of a role model than Arthur (assuming these accusations are true) and yet Lucca gets penalized. That really makes me angry.

But if a HS fixed grades, the NCAA reviewed, and KU offered a scholarship, I don't see how that would be KUs fault. Are schools supposed to start doing their own private investigations into each athletes for certification? That is what the NCAA is for.
