H. Upmans are nice and I will be enjoying one of their cuban models on the golf course today. But my favorite is the Padron Anniversary Series, expensive but a great smoke.

I dont' know much about fine cigars. But I will tell you a brand that is not fine...Dutch Masters.

Used to have a supervisor that smoked those things religiously. And whenever he came around, the evil waft of Dutch Masters & Sanka breath came with him. Yikes!

macanudo, romeo & juliettes, & cohiba, and if you can get cubans-by all means get them-they are definately better than the same brand rolled by dominicans.

Re: favorite cigar

It's been a while, but I used to really enjoy the Padron's in the Maduro wrapper.

The last few years it's been cigars made by guy in Florida and sold in mason jars. They were the best I had ever had. Sadly he died, of a heart attack, so no more cigars. He was a former NFL lineman and a huge man so it wasn't really a surprise.

Re: favorite cigar

I am a big Rocky Patel fan, as well as CAO. Just got a 15 cigar sampler of Rocky Patels two days ago... smoking those by the pool tomorrow. I prefer anything with a med-full, or full bodied smoke.
If you have a humidor and like to have cigars on hand (I enjoy them quite frequently), try this website that has all sorts of weekly specials and pretty decent prices overall. Cigars International - discount cigars, humidors, cigar accessories Just enter your email in the middle/top of the page.

I do agree on a couple other posters as well, though; Macanudos, Romeo y Juliettas, & Arturo Fuentes are all very good, depending on what kind you get of those. And Cuban cigars are worth the extra money when you get a chance...

IMO you can't go wrong with any Padron's... I had a great Cigar last time I was out at Riverside Casino but was too drunk to remember what kind...

I love the Moontrance ones.

Although I smell them more than I actually smoke them.
