I'm a member of the official Coldplay website and got a message from them on watching the linked video for their new song "Violet Hill'. It's not their official video, but interesting nonetheless.
Kind of ballsy move, but love that they put themselves out there for criticism. May make more sense if you know the lyrics to some of the song as well.
What are your thoughts?

I thought the video was pretty good. Don't really listen to much coldplay, but i liked it for the most part. The song kind of reminds me of another song, but i can't seem to put my finger on it at the moment.

I didn't even click the link, but I usually don't pay any attention to what "celebrities" political views are. Sure, they have more of a platform where people listen to them because they are better at some performing art than 99.9% of the population, but does that make them more knowledgeable about anything else?  |

Didn't say it was daring. Kind of ballsy though making politicians look like fools on stage with lyrics 'when the future's architectured by a carnival of idiots on show' and 'i don't want to be a soldier, with a captain of some sinking ship'.
Just my opinion, you don't have to see it the same way.
