I can maybe see a slight privacy concern for some people... but it's not like they are providing live feed of your house - heck I think the photo of my parent's house is atleast several years old...
Atleast they're only suing for $25,000, but it boggles my mind that they actually see this as a reason to go to court, especially for the listed reasons

Maybe their house really needed a new coat of paint and they were embarrassed over it's appearance.
Seriously, there are people that just look for an excuse to sue. They probably figured the $25,000 was small enough that Google would just pay it instead of fight it.
Hard to believe it costs $163k. However, real estate prices are local.
All this lawsuit did is bring more attention to their house. Maybe they are trying to sell it.
Yes... almost every county's assessor is online, so you can see not only a picture of the house, but the current and previous owners... AND the assessed value.
