#1) Do you still have the computer? If you do, I'd recommend just using a flash drive because it saves a HUGE headache and is virtually riskless.
#2) If not, go out on the internet and find directions on how to do it. I know when my parents got their new computer, I took all the songs off my dad's iPod and put them on their hard drive, but can't find the site I used for instructions. I'll keep lookin' though. I did the same thing as well on my laptop when the hard drive crashed and I had everything backed up on my iPod.
I don't have the laptop anymore, as we were issued laptops at my school. The problem I have is that I have the original iPod, so there aren't as many bells and whistles so to say that make transferring it easy...
