I watched a program last night on the Large Hadron Collider...and they were talking about the possibility of creating mini-black holes in the experiment..its an experiment that they are conducting to try to figure out the origins of the universe. You can read about it at the link below.

They also said that they could learn some things about the possibility of other dimensions, and space time findings. It's all fascinating.

I was chuckling to myself thinking that it would be comical after their first collision, when they reviewed their data, if there was a note they found that said 'Hey, I've been telling you all along. I made it. Sincerely, God'

I know this is getting way crazy, but if you move an island through time, doesn't it stay at the same physical location, barring plate tectonic movements and the like? It's still there somewhere.

I think the island stays at the same place, but does Widmore know that. I really think they just moved the island into the future, like 3 years. That way all the people on the island, won't have a 3 year story to go through before we see the 6 come back. And didn't it seem like Michael was gone for much longer than a few months when he returned? How many days has there actually been on the island now?

I wouldnt say smart. I just have a lot of interests, and I watch the science channel quite a bit. A lot of the talk on the LHC show was over my head, but I found it interesting nonetheless.

That's the kind of thing I watch at night after I get my work done, as opposed to sportscenter, which I loathe.

I heard a talk by a Nobel prize winner (physics) when I was in High School. I can't remember his name, but the talk was amazing.

The possibilities of what could be learned by these particle accelerators is amazing.
