Nothing like watching the already socially awkward be humiliated on national TV.

If nothing else Milwaukee's Best should be the sponsor of it.

What's with all the spelling hate?

This is drama at it's highest. "Spellbound" is one of my favorite all-time movies.

I have tuned in before. Its impressive what these kids can spell. But it is correct that they are socially inept.

    Re: Spelling Bee

Why is there such a disproportionate amount of male spellers (compared to the general population) in the contest that have moustaches?

I'm an enigma... It wasn't anything I tried out for - we had a school-wide spell-off. Then I went to regionals and won. Then they sent us to state. I didn't study AT ALL, but it was amazing how devoted some of these kids and their parents are. I haven't seen "Spellbound" - but if you want to talk about stage parents...

I'm trying to find the Cheap Seats where Paul Rudd where's the spelling champs' shirts. All I can find is this: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrSZ7eJaQf4]YouTube - Cheap Seats does the 1997 Spelling Bee[/ame]

Because I know you were all tuning in...

I was wrong; it is tomorrow.

That gives the Bookies time to get everything entered.
