Re: Woman's shoes-poll

I have to say though, I am not much better when it comes to shoes. On top of getting tons of pairs of free Nike's over the years I had a bad habbit of getting a new pair every other pay day or so when I was still single.

I probably have 6 pairs of shoes and half of them look like this. I'm not big on the style thing.

My wife isn't too bad about it, but she does have plenty.

When I told my mother that my future wife (now wife since September) had just under 30, she replied, "oh, she's just getting started then."

... Yikes!

I have some Lebron V's right now....I always go to the Nike outlet, and get expensive shoes cheap. I also have some Air max 180's for basketball.

I'm kind of in the same boat...I have about a 12 pair rotation

5 work shoes, dress-blk,brwn,cordovan, business casual-blk, brwn
2 tennis shoes-1 to mow in-1 to work out in
1 filp flop
1 loafers
1-baseball cleats
1-golf
1 work boots

These all get worn at least once a month.

Re: Woman's shoes-poll

I don't think my wife has all that many shoes but then I probably have more than she does. I'd guess she has about 20. For me...

2 sets of sneakers (one for wet days and one for dry)
2 sets of basketball shoes (outdoor court and indoor)
2 sets of mowing shoes
Snow boots
Work boots
Cowboy boots
Turf shoes (when you need a little more traction than sneakers:)
Baseball cleats
Golf shoes
Golf sandals
3 pairs of cheap sandals (1 pair for each door in the house)
Thongs
Dress thongs
Dress sandals
Brown dress shoes
Black suit shoes
And 2 or 3 pair of crappy ol' shoes that are waiting for that rare sacrificial situation :)

I understand that breakdown. All shoes have a use. On the other hand, my wife has about 20 pairs of dress shoes that are mostly indistinguishable to my eye, and I swear some of them have been worn once at most.
