I'll pull no punches - John Kline is someone I would not shed a tear over - ever. I hope he gets what he has coming to him.

We bought an Oaks Development townhome back in '01 and had many problems with it - Oaks went well out of their way to blame everyone they could for the problems - except for themselves. The roofs on the entire development had to be replaced after just 3 or 4 years. I know our old association is still in litigation with them - but as I felt from the start, they won't see a dime.

I actually heard a rumor that John Kline had some Federal charges brought against him and he left the country. I do now know if that is true or not.

Many subcontractors in Omaha area will not do house work unless they are paid up front after they have been burned by failing homebuilders.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

I guess I'd be screwed. I will NEVER pay a contractor up front after getting burned by too many of them. I had two start and leave projects in the middle of the work. I'm just glad I hadn't given them any money. The agreement was payment after the work was completed.

What ever happened to truth, justice and the American Way?

I've heard the same about Randy Walters leaving the area if not country. Walters has seen this coming for a while..he started laying off people about a year ago. Also noticed that they are sprucing up the strip mall on 86th and hickman which I believe Walters owns...could be trying to unload that to free up some cash, idont know.
