There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

It's not looking good for the town of Corning, IA at the moment... reports from a storm chaser of a quarter mile wide tornado with a large debris cloud moving towards the town.
| Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans… I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care… I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it… let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

I am usually a Channel 5 guy but wow this coverage on 8 is awesome. It's better then the movie twister. Well, they could be nice and mix in a wet Helen Hunt scene from the movie.
Looks like I'll be watching all night now.

That was an intense phone call from Mr. Petrowski, spotter for KCCI. I rarely watch KCCI unless after CSI: Miami, but after this I think I will be on 8 the rest of the night.

I don't know why but I've never enjoyed any news or weather programming other than Channel 8, even going back to when I was really young. I've always thought they did the best work and didn't seem cheap and crappy. It's actually been a long-standing rule in my house that no other news can be watched, Channel 8 has always been our baby and always will be.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. |

However, I do like the 7 day forecasts from WOI and WHO. I know it's not accurate that far out, but I just like seeing it for yucks.
p.s. Channel 8 has the best looking radar.
