Darn... can't get a good image of the current radar as a picture here... Current Dover AFB Nexrad Radar Map : Weather Underground
Thats like the 3rd severe storm to move through tonight.
I had almost constant lightening for a while, with gusts of up to 60 mph. Apperently there was a tornado a little north of me a while ago...

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. |

This storm looks like it's growing. I just spoke to somebody in Omaha, and he said it's really nasty over there.

Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town'

Gah.... Jeremy is there like a delay between when we upload images to the user gallaries and when we can post them or something? I've had trouble uploading images so I can post them in threads.... | Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly! Go Cyclones, in accordance with Prophecy |

My worry is always that Grandpa is 95 and alone on his farm, but my uncle has the farm across the highway so he is watched after. Thanks for the sentiment and I hope you family too stays safe.

I have been flipping back and forth between channel 8, 5 and 13 and it seems like channel 13's radar is ahead of 5 and 8. It looks like the storm is further east and 13's radar.

KCCI noted "some angry viewers are calling in".
I'd tell these people to look at the tapes from the Parkersburg tornado, review how many people died and to go get bent.

I just like the looks of channel 8's radar. Channel 5 and 13 looks more cartoonish, if you will. Channel 8's looks really precise and formal. |
