I'm in Cedar Falls and it is absolutely glorious outside right now...is this thing going to miss Iowa and go north?

Yes, I'm an ISU Alum and Hawkeye fan...get over it.

Well, if a tornado can pick up a house and move it - or toss debris nearly a hundred miles away - picking up a cow and killing it is probably something a tornado has a rather easy time with.

hmm, I don't think Weather Underground is a very good name for a website, as it has some negative connotations.

Not a comment on the poster, of course.

Heard through the grape vine from someone that knows one of the local news' weathermen that he thinks this is brewing to be the worst group of thunderstorms this year. Stay safe tonight.

Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...
... the winds of change ripple throughout the vast fields of corn surrounding the small college town of Ames.

The Gene Chizik era of football continues, and, with it, a renewed attitude of pride, determination, and success.

This is Cyclone Football.

It's too bad...

The tailgate tour starts in an hour in Shakopee, which looks like it's about to get blasted.

Just made a quick trip outside and it's getting darker and the air feels heavier.

Probably need to be more worried about the huge line building from the Kansas/Nebraska border to Enid, Okla. Looks like it's moving in a NNE fashion.

I haven't even looked at the Minnesota weather, my parents live just north of Shakopee in Chanhassen. Probably better check in.

Weather Underground is my favorite weather site, by far. You can pick between a lot of radars, animate them, zoom in on spots. I check it out every day.
