    Apple WWDC - Anyone else watching/listening?

    Apple set to announce 3G iPhone and App Store for iTunes. Always a fun day when new Apple toys are announced!
    I believed in Gene Chizik and all I got was this lousy limited-edition commemorative coin.

    Me too, as usually I'm watching.
    A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

    I couldn't care less about the iPhone and all the related hullabaloo. If someone wants to let me know when they announce the iPod touch price drop, I'd be much obliged. The 32GB touch is my sweet spot, but there's no way I'm shelling out $500 for that thing, especially since we were supposed to see a big price cut way back in April.

    I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

    They are showing different apps that are coming to the iPhone. No new products have been shown yet. They have announced the App Store which will be in iTunes. You can download many apps for free and some paid apps.

    So that's it; Iphone 2.0 runs on a new 3G network, much faster download speeds (21 seconds to load a graphics-rich webpage vs 59 seconds with the first generation).

    Also, huge price cut: $199 for the 8gb, $299 for the 16 gb
