Star Trek: New movie for '09

Just stumbled upon this today, didn't know there was a new Star Trek movie in the works. Per IMDB, it's already in post-production and not slated to come out until May '09.

I deliberately didn't read too much about it, but it seems like a prequel, detailing Kirk's early days, played by actor Chris Pine. Leonard Nemoy will actually be in the movie though. :)

looking forward to it...the original star trek is the only one worth anything and hopefully they do it justice.

Yeah, Cyler, the villain from Heroes, is playing Spock.

I believe that it was scheduled to be a December 08 release. Then they realized that it wiould probably fit into the summer better.
