IOWA ROADS

Does anyone know if highway 30 is open between Ames and Cedar Rapids? I need to get my son to the three day camp that starts tomorrow.

Re: IOWA ROADS

Here's what I found:

US 30: at Boone County Road R18 road closed
Comment: US 30 closed at Des Moines River due to flooding
last updated June 13

US 30 eastbound: from Tama County Road T47 South to US 63
left lane closed because of flooding — until Tuesday, at about 5:00 PM
Comment: Tama County - US 30 eastbound left lane closed from Montour Road to T47 due to pumping water from roadway.
last updated June 13

US 30 in both directions: from Clinton County Road Y4E to Clinton County Road Y44
roadway reduced to one lane, single line traffic - alternating directions because of flooding
Comment: Clinton County: Traffic is being flagged between the towns of Wheatland and Calamus due to water over the road.

Yes it is open. I went to Ames last night (Sat) for the Gridiron event.

So the Tama/LeGrand section is open again? Good to hear. Maybe I will be able to make the trip to CR after all.

Save us tonight, a star shines in all of us,
Far beyond our lives, still our glory lives on.
