I saw De La Soul at the Maintenance Shop ( I think that was the same weekend when Henry Rollins was at C.Y. Stephens for a free spoken word performance which was hilarious) and they were very entertaining. When I first heard 3 Feet High and Rising I didn't like it but it grew on me.
I'll also throw in A Tribe Called Quest as among the talented. Once in awhile I'll throw on Low End Theory. |
