Re: Photo Sharing sites
Picasa software (google owned) that stores them on my PC, allows me to edit, and then upload to picasa web albums where I can share with others.
All free.

I third that emotion - Picassa is the winner. Plus, it probably will never go defunct since Google is involved.

Plus with the Piccasa software you can burn CD's, backup, order prints from other venders, etc.

There also is a Picasa Facebook plugin so you can upload straight to your facebook account.

Re: Photo Sharing sites
Another one here for Picasa. If you use a Mac and iPhoto, there is an app that allows you to publish iPhoto albums directly to Picasa. It works very well.

I have not used Picasa yet, but I'm a big fan of google. So I'll have to give it a shot. :)
If only there was a way to transfer photos from Photobucket to Picasa...I have hundreds of images on Photobucket.

Re: Photo Sharing sites
I have ordered picture albums that my family had developed - about 60 pictures, 20 pages, $30. Great stuff.
I am still upset about some of the other sites folding their tents in the feeding frenzy of competition. One that comes to mind is Target and their subsidiary.

I'll be number seven for Picasa. I love all the editing features it has and I've enjoyed using some of the web albums.

Picasa is cheaper to store more than the free gig. I believe photo bucket is 25 bucks for 5gb.
Google offers:
10 GB ($20.00 USD per year)
40 GB ($75.00 USD per year)
150 GB ($250.00 USD per year)
400 GB ($500.00 USD per year)
