OK-Here is the story.

First the bong. It was one of my first designs. I've since made better but truth be told, by the time you put everything together you may as well buy one online. I did put on\off valves, which is pretty nice. The ones online are cheaper but my hoses are bigger.

So I had this bong hanging out in our tailgate area and these girls came up and asked if they could use it (I think it had to do with the hose size). So of course I said yes. First these 2 girls in the picture did it. Then another set of girls stepped up to the plate. One was kind of hefty and tough looking.

So the drains open and about half way through she closes it up. Everyone is like "whats up with this chick". She proceeds to pull an asthma inhaler out of her purse, which freeks everyone out (I'm think lawsuit). About 20 seconds later she grabs the bong throws it in her mouth and finishes it off. NOW THAT'S A REAL WOMAN!

So... I take it that I'm the only one who can't see the picture?

Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!

Re: Best tailgating Stories

I have a friend that comes out here from California and I've taken him to a few games out here and he can't believe how awesome it is here. He goes to USC games all the time he said that he has never seen anything out there that comes close to the way we tailgate in Ames. Thank God I'm a Cyclone fan. It's easy to be a fan of a team that wins all the time. But it takes commetment to be a Cyclone fan.

Hmm, I think I have the same story. We always used to write "F*** the" on the bottles of vodka before we drank them.

There are too many stories to tell but I always had some bizarre thing happen to me before all of the Iowa games.

One of my most unusual "tailgates" happened the first trip to Iowa. We got back to my friend's dorm room after partying on Friday and a buddy and I decided we wanted to keep drinking while everyone else slept. Every time somebody would move we'd offer them a beer and the next thing we know it's starting to get light out. Oops, drank all night. We walked downtown to hit up Burger King for breakfast and were feeling pretty good about everything until I decided to hit up the bathroom on our way out the door.

Someone had pissed all over the floor the night before and no one had bothered to clean it up. It was one of the worst stenches I've ever smelled in my life. I walk out the door and could tell that the combination of all the beer, BK breakfast, and that smell was doing something horrible to me. I tell my buddy that we need to get out of there fast but I took one step and immediately start puking into the little trashcan hole next to the straws. I finish up, we walk out like nothing ever happened and resume tailgating soon after.

I spent the game standing in the Iowa student section getting everything from a half-empty bottle of water to a cheese-covered pretzel thrown at us. That was the game that JJ took the first play from scrimmage to the house.

I could go on and on with stories from our tailgates in Ames. What a great scene.
