Everyone wants to have improved flood control, roads, utilities, etc... but all that costs alot of money. Nobody likes more taxes, I sure don't. Most municipal bodies would love to have all the money available to solve every problem, but barely have the money to solve a fraction of the worst problems.

Good post Cloneice. Of course there is going to be more run off with less set aside farmland, but you can't blame farmers for planting more with grain prices the way they are. Unfortunately it's just another negative about corn ethanol, which has enough already.
