Credits: 127,096 | Washington DC I know this may sound stupid but I was wondering if anyone knows of anything to do in DC. I'm interning out here and I'm getting a little bored. I live in Georgetown and I was out here last summer as well doing another internship so I already saw the monuments. Unfortunatly I am not 21 for another year so the obvious answer is already out, or I would be a lot happier. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm into aviation history, and really, really like the new Udar-Hazy museum.
If you want to go see dudes shooting cannons and muskets and stuff, there's always the NSSF shooting range out north of Winchester.
They actually have cannon shooting contests. Now THAT is something you don't see everyday. |

You should also check out the Hotel Washington's rooftop restaurant. It is pretty neat.
I am sorry you are not 21. DC is definitely a better place if you can go out.
Where are you interning?

I don't know if you play baseball at all but I could get you in touch with a guy that runs a amateur team in the Falls Church area. | "It is the nature of man to rise to greatness if greatness is expected of him." John Steinbeck XBOXLive: MNclone |

I'll second what the AIT just said. If you are bored in D.C. after two summers, you have no business in History OR Poli Sci.
Do yourself a favor and find something you're REALLY interested in.
I have a BA in History and an MA in Poli Sci (International Relations) and I would STILL be wearing DC out, if I were there right now. |

I have enjoyed just about every minute I've been out here. I apologize for the confusion I know I said I was bored but rather I'm just looking for a place that could be really exciting that I dont no about. I do not play many sports as I am uncoordinated, but thank you for your suggestions. BTW I visited the Holocaust museum today.
