Re: Get ready for milk jugs that are hard to pour
Why does the trade off have to occur? We put a man on the moon and invented the internet (well Al Gore did) and we can't have eco-friendly milk jugs that pour properly?

Milk is meant to come in glass bottles. DairyLand's Best comes in glass, doesn't cost anymore than the larger brands and in my opinion it tastes better and the glass seems to keep the milk colder. Of course you can only get within the corridor from Green Bay to the north shore of Chicago, but darn it, I like it. -

You can get glass bottles of milk at hyvee. Not sure the brand, but they have them.

I'll have to go to Walmart and check ut the new 'eco-friendly' bottles.

It's pretty much the only milk I drink. It's WELL worth it, IMO. I used to work on a dairy farm about the size of theirs, and I know how much work goes into it. They sell a superior product, and the profit is going to a hard working family company. I'll buy it as long as I can afford it.
I could care less if it's "organic". It just tastes better, and there is nothing like having a glass bottle of milk in the fridge.
