    RIP Bozo

Larry Harmon, who turned the character Bozo the Clown into a show business staple that delighted children for more than a half-century, died Thursday of congestive heart failure. He was 83.

Wow, I'm surprised I didn't hear this yet, unless it just happened. Sad to hear.

    Yes.

Heck, even in high school, I would wait to jump in the car and drive to school right after the grand prize game was over.

    Re: RIP Bozo

Stephen Kings IT really ruined the whole "clown" thing for me. Pennywise has forever changed my once fondness of clowns....sad...

    Bozo was great!!

    Re: RIP Bozo

That's too bad, although for some reason I had thought he was already dead.

One of my neighbors at ISU (The Dude) grew up in Chicago and one night he showed us a tape of himself playing The Grand Prize Game as a kid. He got to bucket 4, which I believe got him the Radio Flyer wagon? Of course he got his picture taken with Bozo on the brand new Polaroid Spectrasystem Camera after bucket 1 but he didn't still have the picture.
