Look dude, just because we had different experiences, doesn't mean you have to cop an attitude. I just agreed with the OP and I wasn't getting personal with you, yet you act as if I'm talking about your daughter.

If there was a way to vote on threads and posts like people were asking about today, this might be in the running.
I'm sorry the problems facing the U of I football team have this amount of affect on you.

I don't think you understand how much the "problems" make the rest of Iowa look bad. I, for one, don't want to make "Iowa" synonymous with "rape cover-up." You may have to give a few of us a little lee-way for being freaked out right now. I may pick on EIU but I seriously would never expect something as heinous as these allegations make it out to be.
Re: A Realistic Opinion of the ISU / Women Culture Scene.
Perhaps a student-only poll would be the way to go to determine if our female students are perceived as attractive as other universities.

Wow, wait. So, you don't care about someone's life being ruined at the U of I, but you DO care about their ratio of "hot chicks" to ISU's? AND you haven't even been on campus in 30 years?

I care about the life that was ruined. I don't care about the saturation of news regarding the problems of the UI administrators to the point where I feel that's the only topic to participate on this message board.
And I was just on the ISU campus in June:biggrin:
Re: A Realistic Opinion of the ISU / Women Culture Scene.
I never had a problem finding good looking women in Ames. A hell of a lot more interesting than the spoiled girls from suburban Chicago that were to dumb to get into Illinois over in IC, I might add...
Re: A Realistic Opinion of the ISU / Women Culture Scene.
There have been several threads discussing the women of Iowa State before, specifically I remember people commenting on the lack of girls in the College of Engineering. I'm not sure why everyone is jumping on this guy all of a sudden. I realize his timing is bad, but he is also out of state, and, oh my god, probably doesn't know every single news story going on in Iowa.
I know I didn't care about the scandal in Colorado, or the Baylor one.

Re: A Realistic Opinion of the ISU / Women Culture Scene.
Our former babysitter is an ISU student, and she modelled for "Cosmopoliton".
Are ISU students, both men and women, attractive? Sure.
Am I worried about the "social scene" at ISU? Provided that both my teenaged daughters are going there, I am "worried", but for different reasons that you are think of, I think.
